The Springbok Butchery was established in 1998
After being owned by a few owners, it was finally taken over by Manie Maritz in 2008.
Manie established Springbok Butchery as a firm brand name in Wellington.
Their products are well known to South Africans and more and more Kiwis are discovering the delightful taste of a piece of Biltong or Droëwors (Dried Sausages).
